Red Carpet Makeup Tips ***CONTEST POST***

The Oscars are coming up this weekend and I often equate it to the Super Bowl! It’s the pivotal moment of awards season and I look forward to this red carpet all year long!!! The dresses, the hair, the makeup, the jewelry, it’s all so exciting to see the latest styles and trends and choose your favourite looks of the night. It’s the perfect excuse for my girlfriends and I to get all dressed up, have a little fun and celebrate the Academy Award’s together.
To help you feel like you’re on the red carpet at home, whether you’re throwing a viewing party of your own or heading to a friends, I went to the professionals at AnaVBeauty for some easy makeup tips to make you feel like you’re a star.
1) Use AnaVBeauty’s BB cream foundation for dewy flawless complexion. It’s my absolute favourite that I use on the daily, It’s called Magic BB Cream and it really is magic!!! BB cream also has built in skin care so it will keep your skin nourished throughout the night.
2) Next highlight concealer that brightens up the under eyes. Ana’s team used a pink tone highlighter, radiant touch in color NR4, that instantly makes you look and feel younger.
3) The AnaV conturing kit was used to define and sculpt my cheekbones for added definition.
4) For the eyes we went with a classic metallic smokey eye. Here’s a step-to-step guide to achieve this eye makeup look.
1) Start on the lash line and apply a dark shade all over
2) Then blend over with a metallic frost
3 )Next use a rose champaign shade for the brow bone
4) Use a dark shimmer underneath the eyes for a glam smokey look

5) Last but not least my favorite bb powder was applied all over with a big brush to make sure the makeup will last throughout the day with just the right amount of dewiness.
6) Finish the look with a beautiful rose nude colour on your lips. I recommend Ana’s Tiana lip colour.
