With the rising popularity of the fitness trackers and step counters it’s amazing to see how many people are going out of their way to walk to meetings, dinner dates and even fitness classes. Taking fitness outside of designated ‘workout time’ and bringing it into your every hour is inspiring! While adding fitness more frequently is admirable, reaching the American Heart Association recommending a minimum of 10,000 steps a day is no cake walk! 10,000 steps a day requires intention and frankly, the proper footwear.
