This coat is probably my favourite item from the collection, and I am FULLY obsessed. 

It’s SO versatile. You can just throw it on and it totally cinches your outfit in a snap. This coat dresses any outfit up (even over your PJ’s for god’s sake) and makes you feel put together even when you’re running errands or picking up the kids. For styling, my go-to is jeans and a turtleneck with a nice pair of booties.

For When You Need a Puffer

Okay. So I LOVE Toboggan Canada’s coats. And when in Canada, you must Parka. I mean how else are you going to stay warm in -30ºC Winters?? One of my faaaaavourites by them is a long, red puffer but sadly I can’t find that exact style right now (@Toboggan… bring it baaaack.) So here’s a super cute red one, the Luna II, that’s similar to mine except that it’s short. And here is a long version in black (the Isabella II)!! 

But.. This girl likes shiny things and Toboggan’s Cyber Monday is actually a WEEK long so you know I have to treat myself to something new so these outfits keep looking fresh 😉. I am ALL. OVER. the Isabella Jacket (it’s 30% off during Cyber Week!!!) and cannot WAIT to pick this one up myself 💃

 

For When You Need a Puffer (…but in a Different Style 😂)

Okay so Gary gets full credit for my fandom of RW&CO…. And full credit for my addiction to them LOL. He introduced me to the brand when we first started dating and I love picking out stylish looks for us both from here 🥰 

My pick for this season is the Long Asymmetrical Down Puffer in Black, and here’s another treat: RW&CO is doing a Cyber Week as well!!! So this one’s actually 40% off at the moment. Eeep. Gotta love a deal. It’s water repellent (duh, a MUST in Vancouver) and wind resistant which I guess is becoming more of a necessity with all this intense weather!!

For When You Need to Dress UP

Need something dressy? Check out the MAI coat from Mackage. It’s PERFECT for transitioning between seasons. With a gorgeous wool wrap coat with a sash belt, a waterfall collar, and leather welt pockets it’s both striking and entrancing with its seamless details. This one’s also very similar (also called the MAI) and has other colours available.

For When You Need a Coat that Isn’t a Puffer

I LOVE this Full Body Button Down Knit Jacket in Cream from Privilege for when you need a coat… but not a puffer. It literally goes with everything because of the neutral colour and texture! It’s full-length, has a ton of pockets, and is super easy to layer. To die for.

For When You Need a Casual Plaid Jacket 

Because everyone needs a cozy, plaid jacket or is it really winter? LOL. I’m checking out this Seymour Jacket from Roots. It’s perfect for sitting outside by the fire or looking at Christmas trees. Perfect with a pair of black jeans and boots. This is actually an oversized update of their Park Plaid (#iconic) with a bit longer of a length for extra coverage on those extra cold days. It’s a warm wool blend with a super cozy spot to protect your neck from the wind. This would be great for layering or just for blending in, HAHA. Sometimes you need that. The ‘All Dressed Up’ sketch from Baroness von Sketch Show is coming to mind? 🤔
