Eco Fashion Week in its 10th edition is the world’s largest sustainable fashion event based in Vancouver, BC. Eco Fashion Week strives to raise global awareness for environmentally, socially and economically sustainable consumption happening April 9-14th 2016. The eco-friendly fashion week features local and international designers partnering with La Biosthetique, Fairmont Waterfront and Value Village.
At Eco Fashion Week you can learn about ethically-sourced clothing, natural and up-cycled fabrics in addition to impressive sustainable designs. This ecologically sound fashion event presents runway fashion that does not compromise the environment or its resources.

81lbs is the average weight of textile waste created by a North American, every year – Enough is enough, presented by Value Village and in collaboration with VCAD, students and teachers/mentors in the Fashion program are creating 1 runway quality collection that weighs 81lbs, out of the textiles which outlived their shelf-life at Value Village. It’s a draw every year and this is a year that you do not want to miss.
