It’s snowing like crazy here, which is very unlike Vancouver!! We have 2ft of snow so far and more on the way. WOW!! Needless to say it was a snow day here and we will see if I can get out of our driveway tomorrow. I have places to go and people to see to get ready for Christmas LOL. The snow is definitely getting me in the spirit of the holiday season though!! And our Christmas cards just arrived from Minted and they are absolutely perfect!

I’ve always dreamed of having holiday cards with my family to send out for Christmas, but my parents got divorced and it was never my mom’s thing. So a few years ago when Pierce was born I started our very first FAMILY CHRISTMAS CARDS and I was SO excited! Our little family is growing and with our newest addition Bence, it’s become a bit of a tradition and I couldn’t be happier with how our cards turned out this year!!

We had Dani from Northern Wind Photography take our photos, and even though the day didn’t go as planned we got some amazing photos from the shoot that made the cut for this year’s Christmas card!! As soon as I received them back from Dani, I pulled up minted.com and got to work. It is a dream come true to be able to create Christmas cards for our little growing family. Minted makes it SO easy to create the card of your dreams. There are SO many options to choose from, it can be overwhelming at first. I narrowed it down to a few options and finally decided on the Aria Holiday Photo Card. I’m super happy with it.

I love how Minted has the best templates, fonts, foils and colours to create holiday magic. I splurged this year and added a back page with a personalized holiday message from us to match our design. With addressed envelopes and the skinnywrap feature which is a sticker with our return address along with a holiday greeting, I AM SET. That means I have just saved myself HOURS of hand writing notes to each person and writing out each of their addresses. Now all I need to do is stick on a stamp and pop them in the mail!! Easy peasy. That is a goal of mine this year, simplifying and streamlining life so I can soak in my babies even more.

As soon as they arrived, I tore open the box and couldn’t wait to get them in my hands. I was so happy I opted for the double sided design this time and the extra foil on the front.
